How to play Solana dice

Garden Dice is a wallet-native Solana dice game — you pay a tiny amount of SOL, roll a provably fair die, and verify the result on mainnet. This guide walks through the full flow from free demo to your first paid roll. It is entertainment, not a casino — there are no cash payouts.

Step 1 — Try the free demo

Use the demo panel above — or open Garden Dice / beat roll of 4 for the same flow.
Click Free demo roll. The page shows a commit hash before you roll — proof the server cannot change the outcome after you see it.
Roll the die. After the demo, the server seed is revealed so you can verify the math yourself (or read the provably fair explainer).

The demo uses the same fairness model as paid rolls. Paying only makes your result official on-chain and unlocks shareable challenge links.

Step 2 — Connect your wallet or scan Solana Pay

When you are ready to pay, use the pay panel above or:

Desktop — open the Wallet tab, click Connect, and approve Phantom or Solflare. See connect Phantom to a dApp if this is your first time.
Mobile — open the Solana Pay tab, scan the QR code with your wallet app, and approve the transfer. See the Solana Pay QR guide.

Step 3 — Pay and roll

Choose your bet — default 0.001 SOL (you can go up to 0.01 SOL). At 0.001 SOL that is 1,000,000 lamports — use our SOL converter if helpful.
Approve the transfer to the public treasury address. On Solana Pay mobile, tap I've paid — detect and roll if auto-detect does not fire immediately.
The site confirms your payment on mainnet and shows your official die face (1–6).

Step 4 — Verify and share

Every paid roll is verifiable:

Match the revealed server seed to the commit hash shown before you paid.
Open the transaction on Solscan from the result panel.
Use our transaction lookup to inspect any signature.

Stuck at payment?

If your wallet says insufficient SOL even though your balance looks fine, part of it may be rent-locked in empty token accounts from spam airdrops — only spendable SOL counts for payments.
